I understand how complex your feelings about my existence must have been, when you first arrived. It's difficult find yourself in a new situation, especially one as dire as this, and with as little control as you have been given.
Your feelings do matter to me. While your apology is not necessary, I truly do appreciate it. Thank you for letting me know that my efforts to make you more comfortable and to provide as much as I can has been helpful.
