Well, I am offering a listening ear and the possibility of psychiatric treatment to those who need support after our recent experience. Of course, the latter requires continuity of care regarding medication and treatment.

Would it be possible to receive their medical records if I attain their permission?

I cannot provide information they would not already have, but I can provide what they do know about their own medical treatment documented in an easier to parse way than what they may be able to communicate.

That's more than generous. My concern is being made aware of any prior adverse reactions to medication. I would also note accessing former medical opinions is important for several reasons - from making accurate diagnosis to offering effective treatment.

Continuity of care and all that.
