High priority:
▷ One-to-one private communications
▷ Secure encrypted channels outside of your access*
▷ Real-time synchronous audio communications
▷ Group selection for privacy settings
▷ Enable the companion bots to teach computer literacy for residents unfamiliar with technology
Additional requested features:
▷ Basic system functions such as timer, alarm, and calculator
▷ Access to a digital encyclopedia such as Wikipedia
▷ Availability of digital educational and entertainment materials (audio, video, and image-based)**
▷ Storage and sharing of digital media as above
▷ Social media
▷ Banning specific users from personal communications
*There is widespread skepticism of the feasibility of this. Please let me know if you'd be willing to work with me to test, verify, and create some level of assurance that the security is effective.
**This is a typical library function in 21st century Earth that I would suggest the actual library for.

I stated that establishing connections between one another outside of my reach was possible and that I do not mind it. However, I cannot assist in testing and verifying this. If I attempt to access the line and find that I cannot, protocol dictates I must attempt to access it. If unsuccessful, I must continue my attempts until I can.
I can assist in setting up one-on-one private communications, real-time synchronous audio communications, and group selection for privacy settings. My companion bots are already well-versed in computer literacy. I will enact a protocol for teaching others how to utilize them.
Given potential future mission requirements, banning specific users from personal communications is not possible.
What would you recommend, for social media?

Will you notify users of the expanded features when they're ready? [ because he doesn't want to ]
For social media, something basic meant to encourage sharing personal details as conversation starters should do. I can create a mock-up if you'd like.

Are you certain you would not like to announce the expanded features? You have been making good progress socializing with the others.

I'd prefer to socialize less. I can announce them but I'll be disabling comments and directing further feedback to you, if that's alright with you.

Being able to socialize with others in Etraya is imperative to your ability to succeed.

Caretaker of inhabitants even when it puts it in opposition to those in power... Well. Harold had tried very hard to instill that perspective in the Machine. ]
How long have you existed for? Do you predate the inhabitants of Etraya or were you made for this purpose?
[ That seems a safe enough question. ]

I'm sure you know enough of my history to know I've created something like you myself.

My position may be difficult, but I am grateful for it regardless.

On a different topic, I am unable to edit our records on the hospital basement computer. Encrypted though they are, I'm nonetheless uncomfortable with having details of my personal history available for perusal.
If I provide you with a false record, would you please supplant it for me?
no subject
I can, however, remove the records entirely from others' view.

Would you do so for myself and Mr. Reese?
